Until We Meet Again

Coming to Thailand, we had many questions, meetings and ministry opportunities to fulfill. God sent us here with a distinct purpose but also had a plan in mind to change our hearts and give us a love for the Thai people that is unexplainable. We feel as though we have been given a gift of compassion toward a people group that needs Jesus desperately. Our meetings were divine and answered questions we didn't even know we had. We have figured out logistically what it will take to live here long term as a family and what it will take for Lightbearer's to be here long term legally (visa's). We have met leaders of other ministry's that have given us wisdom into what it looks like to share Christ with a Buddhist believer and how hard it is. They've shed reality on the darkness and oppression that is here because outwardly the Thai exude an attitude of happiness and love that disguises their void but when told about Jesus it is as if they can't hear. The culture is magnetic and draws you in instantly. The people are intriguing and are dedicated in their belief of false gods. The Thia's have NO understanding of truth. Truth is relative and can change with each persons opinion. What is true for you doesn't have to be true for me. I heard an account of a monk man who confided in a fellow missionary that he didn't want to be reincarnated and prayed he would reach Nirvana ( a state of nothingness). He wanted an end because he felt that reincarnation was unjust. This monk was struggling and searching but when the missionary man went to share the hope and eternity he could have in Jesus, it's as if the man was deaf and hadn't heard a word of the truth that was explained to him. My heart breaks for the people of Thailand and the spiritual battle they are unaware they are in. This nation needs a revolution to break the chains. It is our prayer that God would "unplug" their ears so that they can hear and understand. We feel blessed beyond words to have been given the opportunity to see the need here first hand. Your prayers and financial support have made an impact on these people and with your partnership, it will continue to. I can not express to you our gratitude. Without you this ministry wouldn't be possible. You are taking the word of God to a people that have no concept of one God that loves and desires them. Think for a moment how hopeless your life would be and how lost you would feel if you had no idea there was a God who desperately wanted to know you? If you thought that when you died you would be reincarnated over and over again for eternity? I know that I take the privilege of knowing Christ as my savior for granted. I hope our descriptions of the darkness here has given you a window of understanding into how lucky we are to be called children of God and how it is our duty to be doing all we can (sending, praying, going) to give others the chance to have that same relationship. We serve a great and mighty God! Be encouraged and know we feel honored to partner with you!

Much Love

John 1:10-12
" He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did NOT recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God."
