Our CARIBBEAN anniversary!!!

Our third port was in Cozmel Mexico. We loved this stop cause we got to wheel and deal with the shop owners.

The second day of port we stopped in the Cayman Islands. We went snuba diving here and got to explore a ship wreck.

We went to a show on elegant night. It was fantastic!

We got all dressed up most nights and went to a nice dinner in the monet dinning room.

Our first port was in Jamaica. we went site seeing and shopping!

We had a Christmas party at the Collins home this year! It was great fun.

OH I am thankful!

Thanksgiving was a blast! We traveled to see the grandparents that don't live in the NWA area. First stop poppie and Nana's house,which they just moved into, and we LOVE! They spoiled little Pax with lots of hugs and kisses, plus turkey and some of this chocolate desert that aunt cassie made (it was delicious!). Then they got him a little sussy: a walker so that he could show off those strong legs as he explored the house (more or less the kitchen b/c he can't quite get it to move on carpet yet). Then we were off the grandma's. Aunt LeAnna met us at poppie and Nana's to ride with us. It was a two hour trip but Pax did great. He slept for most of it. When we got there grandma had been cooking, the entire house smelled of sweet yams and Turkey. I do have to say my mom has the best yams ever (but I'm probably a little bias). We stuffed ourselves full of yummy food then got out the Christmas decor. We spent the evening decorating the tree, but not before mom took me to the best store ever!! Oh yes girls, Garden Ridge is any crafters paradise. We only spent an hour and a half there but I could have stayed ALL day! Seriously has everything. The next day we shopped, ate lunch and packed up to head home. Thanksgiving was great! I have pictures, but only from my moms house because I forgot that I had my camera with me. Sorry Nana, Poppie, Aunt Cassie and Uncle Rus!! I will post them soon.

A SPECIAL HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Pax: I wish it were warm outside so that you could take me swimming again in popie's pool! Can't wait for you to take me sleding (if it ever gets cold enough to snow) :) LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU

Milestones!

So today started like anyother day. We woke up 5:30 ish (and when I say we I do mean Paxton and me) and I fed him. He is always such a delight in the mornings. He wakes up with big smiles and silly giggles. Today was a little different because after I fed him he wanted to go back to sleep (which was good for mommy) so we slept in until around 6:45. This time when he woke up it was time to play so naturally he rolled over to daddy and pulled his chest hair :) I secretly love when this happens cause it alerts the big man and then we are all up! While our little guys was laughing and playing I noticed something white and hard looking in his mouth so I put my finger in and couldn't believe what I felt. Pax has his very first tooth!!!!!! YES GRANDPARENTS I SAID YOUR GRANDBABY HAS A TOOTH! It just makes my heart melt because my little boy is growing up WAY WAY to fast. He will be 9 months old this month and that is a shocker! Where does the time go?.?.

It has been such a blessing having Pax in our lives. We praise God for his gifts and his miracles and for trusting us enough to give us the honor of being parents.

Happy Fall

We took fall family pictures this weekend and they were so fun! Paxton loves to be outside so laying in leaves was a super good time!

Hello my long lost friends!

I know it has been forever since I have updated our blog. Sorry to all of you grandparents that check it for new pic's of your baby boy! I have been taking them (with my phone) but I haven't figured out how to get them blue toothed onto the computer yet so that you can see them. I have some really great ones!! I know what you are thinking, why don't you take the pic's with your camera. Well you know those moments when you find yourself away from your house and the baby boy does something so cute.... thats when I pull out the ole phone (which takes great pictures) and snap away. I'm just not a techno star and haven't figured out how to import them onto our computer. Once I do that you will have pages of cuteness to look at.

In other news, we are moving on saturday and im super excited! Pax gets his own room YAY!!!!!! but please keep us in your prayers because packing with a baby is so HARD :) I will post the pictures when we get settled into the new place. love you all hope life is treating you all well!

Silly Sunday photo shoots

On sunday we went to lake Fayetteville and had our own little photo shoot/ walk in the park. It was nice. Can't beat 70 degree's and sunny outside in late September!

7 Months old!!!

My sweet baby boy is 7 months old today. Happy Day my little monkey. I love you!

Tomorrow

Tomorrow our son turns 7 months old and I just can NOT believe it. It feels like yesterday that I was at my first baby shower awaiting his arrival. Then at the hospital holding this little miracle in my hands wondering how I ever lived life without him. Now he is a big boy that can roll over in all directions, laughs at everything, can sit up, is trying to crawl, is always smiling, can eat big boy foods and is curious about everything. We feel so blessed to have Paxton and thank our Lord for honoring us with such a gift. Here is a re-cap of the last 7 months.

Mommy and daddy are so very glad that God gave you to us. We have watched you change and develop in to such a funny little guy. You have such a warm and fun personality. You smile at everyone you see and make anyone feel loved. You are the best gift we have ever recieved. We love you with all our hearts!!
