While Muu and Doi were dating Muu became very ill and had to be hospitalized. Doi was a follower of Christ and came to the hopistal and she laid her hands on him and prayed for Muu to be healed. After she finished praying Muu was miraculously healed! He accepted Christ that same day.

The other night I woke up to Paxton crying from the other room. I hate to say this but Angela is usually the one that gets up to check on him because most of the time I do not hear him. However I was the one who heard him so I went to check on him. He was sitting in his bed crying as loud as he could so I picked him up and checked his diaper. It was clean and dry. So I sat down with him and started to rock him and sing to him, but he really didn't want me to hold him so I put him back in his bed and he laid down. I thought to myself that was easy. So I headed for the door, as soon as I had it shut he was screaming. It was the I'm terrified scream. So I started talking to him and he immediately stopped crying. So I sat down beside his bed and talked to him until he fell asleep. Its funny to me that he didn't want me to hold him or take him out of his bed he just wanted to know that I was there. He knew I was there and that gave him a sense of security and that was all that he needed.
As I thought about this I realized that is the way I have been feeling toward God since arriving here in Thailand. A little terrified, yet not wanting God to take me out of my situation. I really have just needed to know that God is here. This place is called the land of smiles but there is a spiritual darkness that covers everything. However God has graciously shown me glimmers of light in the darkness. I was blessed to be able to meet a Thai couple that are working diligently to serve God and build His kingdom. Muu and Doi run a small muffler business to support their family. But they are doing more than just working, they are building relationships to be able to share the Gospel with their neighbors. They have been working as Church planters for the past two years and have started a home church that meets at their home every Sunday. They use their home and business as a means to win people to Christ through the way they live. It is great to see people with a heart for God and then see God use those ordinary people to touch the lives of many for eternity. The people of Thailand are hungry for truth and I thank God for the oppurtunity to be able to see that.

Thinking of you guys and praying for you. Your desire to serve and "your smiles" will bless the people there. And also encourage the followers. Take Care!
