Thing I've been chewing on...

Let me start by saying God is so so good! Today has started like any other day. I have done laundry, cleaned up the house, made lunch, fed little Pax and put him down for his afternoon nap. During his nap he woke up crying. He wasn't fully awake while crying so I stood over his crib waiting for him to fall back to sleep. He continued crying in his half concious state so I debated picking him up and soothing him because he had only been "naping" for about 45min. I decided what the heck I'll pick him up and take my chances on waking him all the way up. While I held him/rocked him God laid it on my heart just how great his creation is. While I was rocking him he put his little arms around my neck and nestled his face against my chest, I can tell you there is NO greater feeling than that. To know that he loves me and needs me that much puts such a warmth in my heart. After that I laid him back down and he went right to sleep. It's like all he needed was another hug and kiss. The fact that God knew before I ever met Benny (my hubby) that we would have Paxton just awes me. Paxton is such a testament to me of how much Jesus loved me and what a sacrafice his life was for me. Paxton is a miracle child; one we never thought we'd have. I feel so blessed that God saw Benny and I worthy of having a child. I love my son more than words can express. Thank you Lord for my son and for giving up your son to die for me on the cross.
