This one is going Platinum

So last night Benny came up with this chart topping, number one hit single

"Don't give me no stinking juice"

Its not for sale.....yet :)

Lights Camera Action

So we bought a video camera last night. The Panasonic SDR S26 to be exact. Benny was way pumped about it. It is one of those things he researched, found just the right one with all the right things and came home saying he thought we "needed" one and what a good "investment" it would be. It is so cute when hubby's get excited about something. Well I agree it is a good investment but I have buyers remorse....anyone with me? Every time we make big purchases I get nervous/nauseous about it. I do look forward to capturing those candid moments of little Pax sitting up, crawling and of course pulling Pypers (the dog) hair. We let it charge all last night and first thing this morning who comes into the bedroom pointing that thing at me and Pax, Benny. Of course I look beautiful in the morning so I wasn't annoyed at all :). IT was fun, Ben filmed little pack man and got lots of good laughter, Pax holding his feet and facial expressions on film. Stay tuned, there will be video up soon!

My baby is 5 MONTHS OLD today!

Pax is 5 months old today and I just can't believe it. Thinking about pregnancy and giving birth seems worlds away but then saying Paxton is 5 months old seems so odd. He has changed so much and is really starting to have a funny personality. He can almost sit up by himself, he can grab toys he wants, he can put things in his mouth, he has favorite songs and loves loves loves to be outside. He smiles when you talk to him and loves it when you make funny faces. He laughs and he snuggles. I love him so much he is such a joy!! Happy 5 months my little monkey Mommy and Daddy love you!!!!

A new found respect

I have gained a new respect for moms, in particular my mom. I never understood growing up the patience, kindness, understanding and unconditional love it took to parent me and my sister. The responsibility of raising a little one to be someone that is honorable, trustworthy, kind, loving, loyal, respectful, content, carefree, smart, giving, compassionate (the list goes on and on) is HUGE. So this is my tribute to all mom's out there.

When you are having a day when you feel like pulling out your hair or crying remember you have a job like no other. God has put his faith in you to raise and love your child unconditionally. The same way He loves us. The saying "patience is a virtue" now has a whole new meaning!

1 cor 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails!

Play date with Brody

They really hit it off!! I think they will be best buds
Not that you can tell from these pictures but Pax is a month older than bro and noticeably smaller. Way to go bro....He eats his veggies.... We have some catching up to do Pax :)

I double dog dare you!!!

So I was dared that I wouldn't go up 100ft in the air , attached to a harness, attached to my hubby, attached to this long rope and let Benny pull a cord for us to drop/swing...BUT I DID IT!

This is where I'm asking the guy who is putting on the harness how long he has worked there and if he is sure that its on correctly....he just laughed...I wasn't so sure how to take that answer

This is the point of NO return!

and here is where I cut off the blood flow to benny's arm..... It was great and very worth it

Our weekend getaway

So we went to branson this weekend with the fam. It was a great time. Pax did awesome and had a lot of fun. He is trying to grow a beard to match it just isn't coming in :)

My son the multi tasker; holding dads shirt asleep, while holding moms hand and his favorite toy at the same time. Thats my boy!
